ProTac® Rail Mount 1 weapon-mounted light with 350 lumen output featuring a dedicated fixed Thumbscrew Rail Mount for 1913 Picatinny rail or Surefire Scout compatible Mounts.
Rail Mount Body features machined posts which directly attach to any existing Weapon Mount designed to accomodate a Surefire M300/M600 Series Scout Light. Remove the Thumbscrew Rail Mount and the body directly bolts to any Weapon Light Mount made by Impact Weapons Components, MagPul, LaRue, Gear Sector, etc.
It uses either a remote switch with momentary/constant on operation or a standard push-button tail switch, and can run on either a lithium battery or an easy-to-find alkaline battery.
Dual fuel - uses one AA alkaline or CR123A lithium battery (both included); also accepts AA lithium
CR123A lithium battery output:
High: 350 lumens; 12,000 candela; 219m beam; runs 1.75 hours
Low 40 lumens; 1,380 candela; 19m beam; runs 14.5 hours
AA alkaline/AA lithium battery output:
High: 150 lumens; 4,950 candela; 141m beam; runs 1.5 hours (alkaline); runs 4.5 hours (AA lithium)
Low: 40 lumens; 1,380 candela; 19m beam; runs 8 hours (alkaline); runs 14 hours (AA lithium)

onPurchased this light together with the Thorntail scout light mount and what a great pair this combo makes! IWC has the best prices around IMHO and shipping was fast. The light was super lightweight and had the tape switch included, with hardware, a nice bonus. Modes are easy to program and tested the dual fuel claims for the light. CR123's are best for the most output, but the AA's work, with much lower output, which is a good option in case you run out of CR123's. Mounts solidly to a pic rail with included mount but does not include screws to mount on a scout mount in case you're wondering. Thorntail scout mount includes them, so no worries there, which this light fits perfectly. Will definitely purchase from IWC in the future, great job!
